If you are in high school and are unsure of what you would like to do after you graduate, or if you think you might need more schooling to get you where you want to go, an ASPIRE mentor can help you explore your options and develop a plan. The ASPIRE program is for all students (whether or not you are currently in foster care). Your mentor can meet with you as often as needed in order to provide whatever guidance you need: exploring education and training options or college choices, helping with the financial aid process, and assisting with essays and applications. If you are interested in working with an ASPIRE mentor, contact your school to see if it participates in the ASPIRE program. You can view a list of ASPIRE schools online here. (If your school does not yet participate, you may encourage them to do so!)
