Boys and Girls Aid of Portland, Oregon is involved in the child welfare community on many levels. They offer adoption training and placement for both infant and foster care adoption, Oregon Heart Gallery photo listings, professional services, and support to youth who are in foster care. Boys and Girls Aid helps youth and young adults through a variety of individualized programs. Young people aged 10 to 23 may be able to participate in Independent Living Services, the Transitional Living Program, Safe Place for Youth, or the STEP program. Youth and their families get the help they need to prepare for the next phase of life, whether it be returning home or moving on to independent living.
