Think:Kids has some very different, and effective, ideas and approaches for helping challenging children and adolescents. The Think:Kids program is part of the Department of Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and was instrumental in the development of the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach. The CPS approach is used to teach clinicians, educators and facilities around the world, as well as to help families and support groups in the Think:Kids clinic. CPS avoids the use of power and control and instead focuses on teaching adults and kids how to solve problems collaboratively, giving them the skills they need to succeed.
