In many states, foster youth are forced to leave the system when they reach their 18th birthday, even if they have nowhere to go. Camellia Network was founded with the hope of providing every youth aging out of foster care with the resources and support they need to not only survive, but to thrive. Through Camellia Network, you can view the profiles of young adults who need your help as they do their part to reach their goals. There are several ways you can help. You can simply offer support, a kind word, and encouragement. You can visit the youth’s gift registry, and fulfill their wish for a needed item (or two). Perhaps you belong to a community organization that can provide resources, or maybe you can provide opportunities or experiences as an Opportunity Partner. Whatever you choose, you can start giving back today by paying a visit to Camellia Network. Note: if you are interested in becoming a Camellia Network youth, you must be referred by your agency. Ask your agency if they are part of the Camellia Network. If not, ask them to become a Referral Partner agency! For more information, please visit: camellianetwork.org
