If you are preparing to age out, you are probably already familiar with FosterClub, the national network for young people in foster care. FosterClub provides the approximately 400,000 kids in foster care a place to speak out, to give and receive support, information, and hope. FosterClub is an established and respected peer support network for foster youth, and they have a wealth of resources available to youth aging out. The Transition Club (formerly known as FYI3.com) lists resources for education, employment, housing, healthcare, and more. One of the most valuable resources offered by FosterClub is the Transition Toolkit, designed to help you, with the aid of your adult support network, to identify your current resources and assets, and map out a step-by-step plan for your life after foster care. FosterClub provides access to many other tools, templates and publications designed to help you on your journey into adulthood. For more information, please visit: www.fosterclub.com/_transition/
